Laos

Vientiane is a very lovely, quiet, and quaint city compared to the madness which is Bangkok. There are plenty of charming restaurants and it's French influence gives it a nice charm. The city closes down around 10:30 and you won't find bands playing in bars or loud club music. For older people who want to get away from the loud and bustling city life this is a very nice place to do it.
