The Bangkok Life

Squid on a stick. I know most people don't find this appetizing but I absolutely LOVE squid. My first proper meal here was Pad Thai with Squid. This is just squid on a stick but it's still pretty decent.

I found the Japanese quarter of town. I live on Sumkumvit Soi 41 which is considered swanky. It's fully of foreigners. Many Korean, Chinese, and Japanese and even some Americans. Even though I am living in a swanky area I am paying around half of what I did to live in Koreatown, plus I get goodies such as a weekly cleaning service and access to a pool. Not to mention the building has 24 / 7 security. Not too shabby.

Let's not forget Mr. Gecko here. There's a ton of these guys around the city, just like in Hawaii. Love these little guys. I can't wait to find a wild monkey.
